2. Your right to withdraw (consumers in the EU/EEA)
If you are a consumer (i.e. you are acting for purposes outside your trade, business, craft, or profession) and you are located in the European Union or the European Economic Area, you have a legal right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you (or a third party nominated by you, other than the carrier) take physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form published by the European Commission, or you may simply state that you wish to withdraw from the contract. We will send you an acknowledgement of receipt of your withdrawal (e.g. by email) without delay.
If you withdraw from the contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for any additional costs arising from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery we offer), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw. We will carry out the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest. You must send back the goods without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. We are not liable for any loss or damage to the goods in transit when you return them; we recommend that you use a trackable service and keep proof of posting.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods (e.g. opening packaging to inspect the product is generally acceptable; using the product beyond what is necessary to try it may reduce the value).
3. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
Under EU/EEA consumer law, the right of withdrawal does not apply in certain cases, including (where applicable):
- Sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons if they were unsealed after delivery (e.g. certain sealed food or supplement products once opened).
- Goods which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
- Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised.
If you are unsure whether an exception applies to your order, please contact us before returning the product.
4. How to return the goods
To return the goods after notifying us of your withdrawal:
- Pack the product securely, preferably in its original packaging if possible, to avoid damage in transit.
- Include a copy of your order confirmation or order number and, if you have it, the withdrawal form or your withdrawal message, so we can identify your order.
- Send the package to the address given in section 1 (Shryxellsvryxell, De Ruijterkade 24a, 1012 AA Amsterdam, Netherlands). We recommend using a trackable delivery service and keeping proof of posting.
- You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless we have agreed otherwise or the law requires us to bear it.
We will process your refund once we have received the returned goods and verified that they meet the conditions above. If the product is damaged or missing parts due to handling beyond what is necessary to establish nature and functioning, we may deduct an amount for the diminished value from the refund, as permitted by law.
5. Faulty or non-conforming goods
If you believe the goods are faulty, not as described, or otherwise do not conform to the contract, you have statutory rights (including the right to repair, replacement, price reduction, or rescission, depending on your jurisdiction). Please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and a description of the issue. We may ask you to send photos or to return the product for inspection. If we agree that the goods are faulty or non-conforming, we will, depending on the case, arrange for repair, replacement, or refund (including any reasonable return shipping costs we have asked you to incur), in accordance with applicable law.
6. Non-consumer customers
If you are not a consumer (e.g. you are ordering on behalf of a business), different rules may apply. Returns and refunds in that case are subject to any agreement between you and us and to applicable commercial law. Please contact us to discuss your situation.
7. Changes to this Return Policy
We may update this Return Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates when it was last revised. Changes apply to returns initiated after the update is published. We encourage you to review this page when you consider returning a product.
